Riverside Kayak Connection and Boat US Foundation
Riverside Kayak Connection is helping kids and adults stay safe on the water. With the Boat US Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Program the public can borrow a life jacket for the day or weekend, at no charge!
The Boat US Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Program started in 1997. Each year the program loans over 140,000 life jackets across the United States. Riverside Kayak Connection joined the program in 2017. We have loaner life jackets available for all ages.
Boat U.S. Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Program Information:
The Life Jacket Loaner Program is for boaters or kayakers who don’t have enough properly-fitting life jackets.
To borrow a life jacket, stop by Riverside Kayak Connection at 4016 Biddle Avenue, Wyandotte, Michigan during business hours.
~ Loans are made on a first come/first serve basis, no reservations.
~ Loans are for a period of one to three days.
~ Life jackets are available for infants, children, youth and adults.
~ Borrowers will complete a Borrower Liability Release Form.
~ We ask that the child or adult who will be wearing the life jacket come into the shop. Our staff has been trained on how to properly fit life jackets and will assist in selecting the proper size.
